AIA South Dakota is accepting entries for our 2025 Nominated Awards. Categories include the Young Architect Award, Associate Award, and the Legacy Award.

The submittal deadline for the Young Architect and Associate awards have been extended to 5 p.m. CT/4 p.m MT on Friday, Aug. 8, 2025. Nominations are closed for the Legacy Award. The program information, nomination form, and award criteria are available here. (Note that this pdf reflects the original deadlines for all three Nominated Awards categories.) 

There is no limit to how many years a nominee may be submitted for an award. However, a recipient may receive a specific award only once. Members of the current Design Awards Committee are not eligible to submit during their tenure, as they may serve on the jury for the Nominated Awards. Starting in 2025, the jury will include architects and design professionals from outside South Dakota.

There is no entry fee for Nominated Awards submittals.
